When to arrive?

All competitors should arrange travel so that you arrive to Hotel Nyack by 3:00 PM. If attendees are unable to land at EWR by 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 18th, we ask that they arrive on Monday, August 17th and JLR will provide accommodations for Monday night at Hotel Nyack. This is critical as programming begins promptly at 3:30 PM on Tuesday and attendees will need time to deplane, gather luggage and transfer to the Nyack area.

Driving competitors must arrive to Hotel Nyack by 3:00 PM in order to register and check in to the hotel prior to the beginning of scheduled programming.

How will I receive my travel stipend?

You will receive your travel stipend in the form of a VISA gift card when you arrive at the hotel for the program. The total amount on the card will include your travel stipend ($675 for air travel or $200 for travel by car), plus a $75 stipend for the dine around on Wednesday evening in Nyack.

I plan to fly in for the program. How do I book my air travel?

You will be responsible for booking and paying for your flight. Once on-site at the hotel, you will receive a travel stipend of $675 in the form of a Visa gift card as reimbursement for your flight and transportation from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Hotel Nyack on arrival day. Please contact us if you need any assistance with booking your flight.

Can I extend my stay at Hotel Nyack and/or The Times Square EDITION?

The program covers three nights of accommodations (two nights at Hotel Nyack, one night at The Times Square EDITION). To request additional nights and/or rooms, please email support@JLRJTE.com and we will coordinate with the hotel to determine availability. Participants will be responsible for the cost of additional nights and/or rooms. Please do not contact the hotel directly as we are coordinating on your behalf.

​Is transportation provided from Mahwah to NYC?

Yes, transportation from Mahwah to NYC will be covered by JLR. Please note that only competitors are permitted on the transfer from Mahwah to NYC - no guests will be allowed.

May I bring a guest to participate on this trip?

Due to the nature of the agenda, guests are not permitted at JLR activities. Any guests accompanying a competitor will be at their own expense. All JLR sponsored events, transfers, and activities are limited to JLR personnel only.

​What is the program attire?

For the Arrival Dinner, please plan on modern luxury attire:

• Strict no denim policy: no jeans, no denim jackets, etc.

• No T-Shirts

• Shirts must be tucked in

• No casual sneakers or gym shoes (clean white sneakers are okay)

• Cell phone policy: There is a no cell phone policy in the dining room. If you must take a call, please step outside

For Competition Day the attire will be smart casual.

​

For the Awards Ceremony evening, we recommend modern luxury attire. Please make sure your attire is brand appropriate (no offensive language or imagery).
